Master gardener workshops:

The following workshops take place June 30 at the Hillsborough County Extension Office, 5339 S County Road 579, Seffner. Call (813) 744-5519, ext. 146. Seating is limited, and registration is required.

• Compost Happens at 9:30 a.m. Hillsborough County residents receive a free compost bin and thermometer. Nonresidents pay $20.

• Water-Wise at 10:30 a.m. Hillsborough County residents get a free microirrigation kit. Nonresidents pay $20.
