Kidnapper gets 10 years for robbing man

A Hernando judge sentenced a 22-year-old to a mandatory 10 years in prison Friday for the August armed burglary, kidnapping and robbery of a Spring Hill man. Prosecutors capped Luis Baez' sentence as part of a plea deal. Along with a friend, Baez ordered the man to drive to two gas stations and withdraw money from an ATM. Baez went into the store with the man but did not stand nearby. The man told the clerk to call deputies.
