William Napoli was almost in the clear with the purloined strip loins but the bulge in his pants did him in, authorities say. Napoli, 55, was leaving Publix on Mariner Boulevard about 1:45 p.m. Saturday when store workers stopped him, according to a Sheriff's Office report. Napoli had stuffed down the front of his pants six packages of New York strip steaks worth $108 and waddled out of the store, where employees nabbed him, the report said. Napoli said he wanted to pay for the meat, but deputies arrested him on a shoplifting charge.
