Caliente sued by telecom firm for unpaid bills

A Tampa telecommunications equipment company sued Caliente Resorts Tuesday for $15,711.95 in unpaid services. Matthew J. Jowanna, an attorney for Actas International, claimed breach of contract, saying the nudist resort did not pay for a new telephone system Actas installed at the resort's Dominican Republic branch in 2006, as well as support and maintenance services. Caliente spokeswoman Angye Fox said the resort has no comment on ongoing litigation.
