It's flu shot season, and the Pasco County Health Department will make it so easy to get one, you can stay in your car. The Health Department will host two "Drive Thru Flu Shot Clinics" this month:
• 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Oct. 16 at St. Michael the Archangel Church, 8014 State Road 52 in Hudson.
• 9 a.m. to noon Oct. 20 at Centennial Middle School, 38505 Centennial Road in Dade City.
Flu shots will be $25, payable by cash or check. With proof of straight Medicare or Medicare PPO, clients will get their shot free and their insurance will be billed. Medicare HMO and other insurance customers will pay $25. For information, visit www.doh.state.fl.us/chdpasco/default.html.

Knights, Sertoma get a Fall Fest on
The Knights of Columbus Council 11680 and the West Pasco Sertoma will host their annual Fall Fest Carnival this week at Our Lady Queen of Peace Catholic Church, 5340 High St. Hours are 5 p.m. to midnight Thursday and Friday, noon to midnight Saturday and noon to 6 p.m. Sunday. The PCHD has been doing this drive-through flu shot clinic for the past 3 years. There have been NO adverse incidences caused by the shots. There are trained medical personnel to watch for reactions. Chill, Dawn.

A drive in flu clinic. Who is going to be liable if someone reacts to the shot and has an accident? Have you lost your damn minds?

I will ask again...Have they lost their damned minds? Who is going to be accountable when someone reacts to this shot and drives off causing an accident? The taxpayers that's who. And I'm sick of paying for acts of idiocy!
