KENNETH CITY

Social club potluck to include corned beef and cabbage

The Kenneth City Social Club will meet Tuesday for a potluck supper and a general meeting to discuss community issues. The club will provide corned beef and cabbage at the potluck supper. Members and guests should bring a dish to share. Members may take part in the supper at no cost, guests or nonmembers are $2 per person. Any resident of Kenneth City or the surrounding area is welcome to join the club for $5 per household per year. The meeting agenda includes a visit and demonstration from a St. Petersburg Police canine unit, which will take place just before the meeting starts at 7 p.m.

When: Supper starts at 6 p.m., meeting at 7 p.m. Tuesday

PINELLAS PARK

See 'Into the Woods' at Performing Arts Center

The Classical Youth Players will present a performance of Into the Woods on Friday at the Pinellas Park Performing Arts Center. The show is a musical adaptation of the classic fairy tales by the Brothers Grimm with music and lyrics by Stephen Sondheim. Donations will be accepted at the door.

Drop off large items for Pride in the Park cleanup

Pinellas Park's annual Pride in the Park cleanup offers residents the opportunity to unload large unwanted items at various locations citywide from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday. Residents can also pick up free mulch at the city's brush site at 12950 40th St. Bring your own shovel and containers.

Free pipe organ performance

Looking for a fun way to spend your lunch hour? Check out the monthly pipe organ performance at Pinellas Park's city auditorium the third Tuesday of every month. Bring a bag lunch and listen to old-time music performed on the restored, vintage Mighty Wurlitzer theater organ.

When: 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Tuesday

Firefighters to host chili cook-off for charity

The Pinellas Park Firefighters will host their annual Chili Blaze cook-off to benefit the Muscular Dystrophy Association. The event coincides with Country in the Park and also features live music, a motorcycle show and race car exhibit, arts and crafts show and plenty of vendors. Purchase an all-you-can-sample wristband for $7. Additional food and beverages will be available for purchase. Admission is free.

Country in the Park to feature music, food

The city of Pinellas Park will present the 20th annual Country in the Park event March 21 at the England Brothers Band Shell. The trade show and festival includes a musical performance by Billy Joe Royal and local country and bluegrass groups as well as crafts, art and an equestrian experience with a hands-on opportunity to learn about grooming and horse care. Kids will have a chance to go on pony rides and have their picture taken with the Pinellas Park Police Department mounted patrol. Admission is free.
