Onstage comedy: Vanities, a bittersweet comedy by Jack Heifner, will be performed by the West Coast Players at 8 p.m. Friday, Saturday, and June 12 and 13; and at 2 p.m. Sunday and June 14 at the West Coast Players Theater, in the Clearwater 19 Commerce Center behind Clearwater Toyota on U.S. 19. Ride the rails: Kids and adults can experience large-scale model railroading and the hobby of live steam firsthand with a ride on the Largo Central Railroad. There are approximately 1.2 miles of main line track with numerous passings running through beautifully landscaped Largo Central Park, 101 Central Park Drive. Celebrate summer: The Southwest Pool will be open to the public at no charge during the Southwest Neighborhood Summer Kick-off noon-4 p.m. at 13120 Vonn Road, Largo.
