BROOKSVILLE

Central High plans ninth-grade orientation

Central High School will host a ninth-grade orientation at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday in the gymnasium. The school is at 14075 Ken Austin Parkway. For information, call (352) 797-7020.

St. Joseph's Day feast to be held March 14

The Sons of Italy, Nature Coast Lodge 2502, invites the public to a St. Joseph's Day Feast and Celebration from 3 to 7 p.m. March 14 at Holy Cross Lutheran Church, 6193 Spring Hill Drive.

The free event starts with a Catholic Mass, followed by a pasta Milanese dinner. There will also be an "Old Fashioned Market" with flowers, vegetables, St. Joseph's bread and pastries for sale.

Donations, which will benefit a local church and charities, will be accepted. For information, call Carmella at (352) 688-9234.

    TAMPA — A man accused of shooting his roommates in a New Tampa apartment told police he shared neo-Nazi beliefs with the two men until he converted to Islam then killed them because they disrespected his faith.
