The Greater Brandon Chamber of Commerce will host its annual Health Fair from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday (May 13) at Westfield Brandon, 459 Brandon Town Center Drive.
The health fair is an opportunity for chamber members in the health and wellness industry to showcase their products or services and to educate the community on the benefits of a healthy lifestyle. Exhibits, screenings and demonstrations have been designed especially for families. Attendees can talk directly to healthcare professionals.
The 2017 fair is also sponsored by Brandon Regional Hospital, Jersey College and Westfield Brandon. More than 45 healthcare companies will attend. There will be free child and adult health screenings, blood pressure testing and body mass index (BMI) measurements.
"We're excited to be able to showcase and highlight the healthcare members of our chamber and the services they have to offer," said chamber chairman Tad Denham. "This is always a very creative forum and a great chance to learn about what we do. The Brandon Mall is a great place to have it, plenty of room for everyone."
The Brandon Chamber works with state and local entities to encourage a pro-business climate in the greater Brandon area in an effort to increase business creation, growth and sustainability.
The event is free to the public. Sponsorships at various levels and limited booth spaces are available to members and non-members at brandonchamber.com.
