careminders opens in clearwater: CareMinders Home Care, which says it is the only home care franchise that requires its offices to obtain accreditation from the Joint Commission, the nation's largest and most respected standards-setting and accrediting body in health care, recently announced the opening of its first Clearwater office at 29750 U.S. 19 N, Suite 205, serving Pinellas and Pasco counties.

Denise Seaman, who previously served as senior director of finance for Vitera Healthcare (formerly Sage Healthcare Division), is launching the business with the support of her husband, Bill. Seaman believes individuals should receive care where they feel most comfortable — in their own home.

"This is more than just a business endeavor for me. I look forward to serving my neighbors through an opportunity that allows me to leverage what I am most passionate about — community and family," said Seaman. "I have a lot of compassion for individuals that are going through tough times."

CareMinders employs professional nurses who are qualified to monitor client health and to administer medicine, along with support staff caregivers who assist clients with daily activities.

"We're excited to have Denise join the CareMinders family. She's impressed us from the minute we met her," said Gary Kneller, president and chief franchise development officer of CareMinders Home Care. "We're confident that she is the right fit for this opportunity to serve Clearwater and beyond."

CareMinders Home Care also has offices in Boynton Beach, Jacksonville and Panama City.
