Coast Guard rescues boaters near Bayboro Harbor

ST. PETERSBURG — The U.S. Coast Guard rescued two boaters Monday after their dinghy began to take on water near Bayboro Harbor.

According to the Coast Guard, one of the boaters punctured his dinghy on a navigation aid while attempting to tow a sailboat. There were no injuries. Neither boater was wearing a life jacket.

No other details were released.
