Discuss Pasco's history with the Historical Society

DADE CITY — The Pasco County Historical Society's next meeting is at 7 p.m. July 18 at American Legion Post 15, 37745 Church Avenue, Dade City.

Jeff Miller, creator of the website, speaks. Miller is a member of the board of directors of the West Pasco Historical Society and a math teacher at Gulf High School in New Port Richey. He obtained the internet domain name in 2001 to honor a mostly-forgotten lumber town called Fivay in western Pasco County. The topic of discussion for the meeting will be the website, which features a comprehensive collection of historical Pasco County articles and photographs. A covered-dish dinner precedes the program. Bring a dish to share, plus your own disposable knife, fork and spoon, and a beverage.
