Donate blood in Hernando County

The LifeSouth Community Blood Center mobile units will be at the following locations this week.

Today: No mobile units.

Monday: 11 a.m. to 5 p.m., Walmart, 13300 Cortez Blvd., Spring Hill.

Tuesday: 8 a.m. to noon, 3 Seasons Mobile Home Park, 21253 Yontz Road, Brooksville; 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., Walmart, 1485 Commercial Way, Spring Hill; 12:30 to 4 p.m., Walmart, 7305 Broad St., Brooksville.

Wednesday: 11 a.m. to 5 p.m., Sam's Club, 13360 Cortez Blvd., Spring Hill; 10 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., Walmart, 13300 Cortez Blvd., Spring Hill; 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., Publix, 19390 Cortez Blvd., Brooksville.

Thursday: 11 a.m. to 5 p.m., CPL Delta Power, 10311 Cement Plant Road, Brooksville; 11 a.m. to 5 p.m., Goodwill Industries, 4750 Commercial Way, Spring Hill.

Friday: 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., Moose Lodge 521, 5214 Mariner Blvd., Spring Hill; 11 a.m. to 6 p.m., Subway at Mariner, 13078 Cortez Blvd., Spring Hill; noon to 6 p.m., Dollar Tree, 13120 Cortez Blvd., Spring Hill.

Saturday — 11 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Publix, 9595 Commercial Way, Spring Hill; 10 a.m. to noon, Home Depot, 4765 Commercial Way, Spring Hill.

The blood center, at 12395 Cortez Blvd., Spring Hill, is open from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sundays, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. weekdays, and from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturdays. Donors must be 16 or older (16-year-olds must have written parental consent). All donors must present photo identification. For information, call (352) 596-2002.

    It didn't end up being a touchdown, but one of the Bucs' biggest hustle plays in Thursday's win over Jacksonville saw receiver Adam Humphries scoop up a loose ball just before halftime, after what looked like an incompletion but was correctly ruled a Jameis Winston fumble.
