Brooksville Raid Re-enactment: Presented by the Hernando Historical Museum Association and North Pinellas County Scout Sertoma Club. Includes food concessions, Confederate and Union camp tours, chair rentals and wagon rides. With more than 1,500 re-enactors, 28 cannons, 60 horses and more than 50 sutlers, this is Florida's largest Civil War re-enactment. Florida State Arbor Day celebration: The Withlacoochee Forestry Center and the Hernando County Florida Yards and Neighborhoods program will team up to host this Arbor Day celebration. Division of Forestry personnel will provide information about how to maintain healthy forests and wildlife regions. Florida Yards and Neighborhoods will offer information on maintaining an environmentally friendly and attractive yard at home.
