Lace up those running shoes: Saint Leo University is hosting the Publix Family Fitness Weekend with a triathlon, duathlon and sprint kids' triathlon on Saturday, followed by a 5K race on Sunday. The triathlon features a 600-meter swim across Lake Jovita, a 10-mile bike course filled with hilly scenery, and a 3.1-mile run through the grassy campus. Bullying is focus

of event June 18

The Seventh Annual "The American Dream" Congress meets from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. June 18 to discuss bullying prevention. Topics include bullying prevention in the schools, the link between childhood bullying behavior and domestic violence, legal issues, legislative updates and the role of faith-based communities. The congress will meet at the Center for the Arts at Wesley Chapel High School, 30651 Wells Road, Wesley Chapel. This is free and open to school personnel, child advocates, social workers, parents, youth leaders and members of the faith-based community.
