Celebrating Founders Week: The following events are planned next week in celebration of Brooksville's Founders Week:

• Great Brooksvillian of the Year ceremony, 10:30 a.m. today, Weeks Hardware, 115 N Main St. Call (352) 540-3810.

• Victorian tea, noon to 3 p.m. today, Brooksville Woman's Club, 131 S Main St. Includes sandwiches, scones and petit fours. Arts and crafts available. $7 at the door. Call (352) 799-3801 or (352) 848-7988.

Fun under the Big Top: The Loomis Brothers Circus will host shows at 4:30 and 7:30 p.m. Monday and Tuesday at the Hernando County Fairgrounds, 6436 S Broad St., Brooksville. Doors open an hour before showtime, with elephant rides, pony rides, face painting and treats. The three-ring circus features performing elephants, tigers, clowns, acrobats, aerialists, trained dogs, horses, jugglers and magic. Tickets are $15 for adults; children 12 and younger are admitted free with a paid adult. Call toll-free, 1-888-628-9992.

Celebrating ethnicity: The 18th annual Ethnic Festival runs 5 to 10 p.m. Thursday and continues through Oct. 25 at St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church, 13485 Spring Hill Drive, Spring Hill. The festival includes midway rides, entertainment and food. 5 to 10 p.m. Free parking and admission. Reduced midway tickets are available at the church office. As Yogi tells it: EDPAC Stage Co. will bring back Nobody Don't Like Yogi, with performances at 8 p.m. Friday and Saturday, and 3 p.m. matinees Saturday and Sunday at the Eleanor Dempsey Performing Arts Center at Bishop McLaughlin Catholic High School, 13651 Hays Road, off State Road 52.
