Elementary breakfast

Monday: sausage biscuit, peanut butter and jelly bar

Tuesday: French toast sticks with sausage, blueberry muffin, mozzarella cheese stick

Wednesday: chicken biscuit, breakfast protein bar

Thursday: ham, egg and cheese breakfast sandwich, fruit and yogurt parfait

Friday: ham and cheese breakfast pizza, yogurt with granola

Elementary lunch

Monday: popcorn chicken bowl, Italian sub, peanut butter and jelly sandwich, green beans, fruit cocktail, pineapple tidbits and grapes

Tuesday: veggie lasagna, Southern-style chicken bites, honey-glazed carrots, garden salad with light ranch dressings, pasta fagioli soup

Wednesday: beef and broccoli rice bowl, fish nuggets with tartar sauce, chef salad, stir-fry vegetables, peach slices, fresh apple slices

Thursday: barbecue pork sliders, macaroni and cheese, roasted squash and sweet potatoes, zucchini slices with veggie dip, banana pudding

Friday: harvest pizza, Southwestern chicken salad, cucumbers with veggie dip, frozen fruit pop, applesauce

Secondary breakfast

Monday: sausage biscuit with potato baby cakes, biscuits with jelly

    ST. PETERSBURG — The founder of St. Petersburg's Universal Health Care alleges that Florida regulators conspired with the company's chief financial officer to drive the once high-flying Medicare insurer out of business.

    Federal agents raided the headquarters of Universal Health Care in 2013, ordering employees to leave the building. The insolvent St. Petersburg Medicare insurer was then in the process of being liquidated by state regulators.

    Tampa Bay political leaders often tout taking a regional approach to solve the region's most pressing issues. But the challenge has been getting Hillsborough and Pinellas County leaders together on the same page.

    Or in this case, in the same room.

    This month Hillsborough County administrator Mike Merrill (above) nixed a joint meeting of the Hillsborough and Pinellas County Commissions.
