Deputies: News of pregnancy started fight

The fight started over the news that another baby was on the way. It ended with Marc Felton, 29, behind bars on a charge of aggravated domestic battery on a pregnant person. According to a report from the Pasco County Sheriff's Office, Felton became upset July 16 when his girlfriend told him she was pregnant. The girlfriend told deputies that during the course of the six-hour argument, Felton grabbed her by her arm and threw her to the ground, struck her about 30 times in the head and choked her using both hands around her neck. Deputies noted that she had abrasions and injuries that supported the allegations. Felton, of 2922 Matchlock Drive, was arrested Wednesday and remains at the Land O'Lakes jail in lieu of $15,000 bail. The sheriff's report said Felton and the girlfriend already have a child together.
