Human trafficking awareness event planned in Pasco

HUDSON — A human trafficking awareness event is at 7:30 p.m. Aug. 29 at Lakewood Church of God, 12637 Pony Lane, Hudson. Corporal Alan Wilkett of the Pasco County Sheriff's Office will discuss human trafficking in Pasco County, how to protect children from it and what a person should do who comes into contact with someone involved in human trafficking. A Q&A will follow the presentation.
