Highland Hoppers has preschool openings

The Highland Recreation Complex, 400 Highland Ave., has openings in its Highland Hoppers. The preschool program is for children ages 3 to 5.

Offerings include three session choices: five days (Monday through Friday), three days (Monday, Wednesday and Friday) or two days (Tuesday and Thursday). Hours are noon to 4 p.m.

Classes are ongoing and offered year-round. Pick up informational packets at Highland Recreation Complex. Cost ranges from $84 to $210. For preregistration, call (727)518-3016.

Women's Club to host business luncheon

The Largo Woman's Club will hold a business meeting luncheon Nov. 3 in the Loft at Royal Palms, 200 Lake Ave. The guest speaker will be David Michalicka of the Crime Prevention Task Force, and he will talk about home and auto safety, identity theft and burglary.

The meeting starts at 11:30 a.m. Cost is $7. For information, call Mary Black at (727) 585-2852.

Botanical Gardens seeks craft vendors

The Florida Botanical Gardens, 12520 Ulmerton Road, is looking for craft vendors to display their wares during Holiday Lights in the Gardens, which will be held from 6 to 10 p.m. Nov. 28 through Jan. 3. For information, call (727) 582-2247.
