Middle school students adopt assistance dog for hearing impaired

Hearing-impaired students at Ben Hill Middle School in Tampa adopted a 12-year-old miniature pinscher named Parris. Parris is a service dog trained to aid those who are hearing impaired. County Commissioner Ken Hagan and Animal Services director Ian Hallett presented Parris to the students at Ben Hill Middle last month.
