Domestic Violence Observance: The Family Justice Center of Hillsborough County invites religious and spiritual leaders to participate in a public declaration of support for families troubled by domestic violence at a news conference at 9:30 a.m. Oct. 2 at the Family Justice Center, 9309 N Florida Ave., Suite 109. Disabilities information rally: Attend the annual Families Abilities Information Rally (F.A.I.R.), a family-friendly community event for everyone that offers numerous educational opportunities for those with and without disabilities, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Oct. 6 at All People's Life Center, 6105 E Sligh Ave. in Tampa. Event includes games, arts and crafts exhibits and a visit with Santa. More than 80 community partners will be on hand. Admission and parking are free. Food will be available for a donation.
