Pasco County, Covanta Energy team up for April 24 Earth Day event

Recycle electronics at Earth Day event

Pasco County Recycling will be part of this year's Earth Day Celebration from 9:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday at Crews Lake Park, 16739 Crews Lake Drive.

Bring your mercury thermostats or thermometers and receive a $5 gift card.

Old, broken electronics may be recycled at no charge. The collection is sponsored by Covanta Energy and Pasco County.

The Earth Day event will also feature ladybug releases, kids' crafts, car show, rain barrel workshop and educational displays.
