School menus

Elementary breakfasts

Elementary breakfasts are called Sunrise Packs, and each features a main item that contains a combination of grains and/or protein, plus a choice of low-fat milk, and a choice of a fresh fruit or 100 percent fruit juice. Choices include the following:

Snack Pack: Muffins, PopTarts or cereal bars.

'Moove' Pack: Yogurt with Elf Grahams.

Bowl Pack: Whole-grain, reduced-sugar cereals with Elf Grahams.

Hot pack: Pancakes, breakfast pizza or sandwiches.

Elementary lunches

All elementary school lunches include an entree, a milk choice, a fruit choice (including 100 percent fruit juice) and any two vegetable options.

Monday: Cheesy tomato soup with Goldfish; barbecue rib sandwich; or peanut butter and jelly sandwich. Veggie/fruit choices are broccoli with dip, glazed carrots, orange smiles, applesauce.

Tuesday: Scrambled eggs with cinna-bread; maple pancakes with sausage; muffin dipper box; or peanut butter and jelly sandwich. Veggie/fruit choices are garden salad, potato roasters, fresh melon, mixed fruit cup.

Wednesday: Nachos; chicken BLT salad with or without pita bread; or peanut butter and jelly sandwich. Veggie/fruit choices are celery/tomato with dip, pinto beans, apple slices, fruit cup.

Thursday: Burger or cheeseburger sliders; "big bad" bean burrito; peanut butter dipper box; or peanut butter and jelly sandwich. Veggie/fruit choices are Caesar salad, steamed broccoli, seasonal fresh fruit, diced pears.

Friday: Personal pizza (cheese or pepperoni); fish sandwich; or peanut butter and jelly sandwich. Veggie/fruit choices are carrots with dip, roasted red potatoes, red grapes, raisins.

Middle and high school breakfasts

Secondary breakfasts are called Wake Up Packs, and each features a main item, plus a choice of low-fat milk, and a choice of a fresh fruit or 100 percent fruit juice. Choices include the following:

Hot'n Stacked Pack: Muffins, waffles, pancakes, French toast or other traditional breakfast favorites.

Lite'n Healthy Pack: Yogurt fruit parfaits, low-fat yogurt cups or smoothies.

Grain'n Eat It Pack: Whole-grain cereals are available.

Snack'n Go Pack: A snack-like choice.

Grab'n Go Pack: A hot breakfast sandwich or other meal students can eat "on the go."

Middle school lunches

All middle school lunches include an entree, a milk choice, a fruit choice and any two vegetable options. All meals include option for 100 percent fruit juice.

Monday: $2.50 menu: Peanut butter and jelly sandwich or hummus combo. $3 menu: Grilled chicken Caesar salad; vegetarian entree salad; beef and broccoli; or fresh baked pizza. Veggie/fruit choices are broccoli dipper, glazed carrots, orange smiles, applesauce cup.

Tuesday: $2.50 menu: Italian deli "flatz" or "just plain nutty" combo. $3 menu: antipasto salad; vegetarian entree salad; turkey and gravy with roll; Buffalo chicken wrap; or grilled cheese sandwich. Veggie/fruit choices are garden side salad, mashed potatoes, melon, mixed fruit cup.

Wednesday: $2.50 menu: Peanut butter and jelly sandwich or "Moo Over" fruit parfait. $3 menu: Chicken salad bread bowl; vegetarian entree salad; "build ur own" burrito or rice bowl; or "Backyard" hamburger/cheeseburger. Veggie/fruit choices are celery/tomato dipper, baked beans, fresh sliced apples, pearsauce.

Thursday: $2.50 menu: Italian piccolo sub or "lean machine" combo. $3 menu: Chef salad; vegetarian entree salad; chicken sandwich (breaded or grilled); or cheesy southwest tomato soup with soft pretzel. Veggie/fruit choices are Caesar side salad, steamed broccoli florets, seasonal fresh fruit, or peach/strawberry cup.

Friday: $2.50 menu: Peanut butter and jelly sandwich or French market combo. $3 menu: Buffalo chicken salad; veggie entree salad; Asian orange chicken with or without brown rice; or fish sandwich. Veggie/fruit choices are fresh baby carrots, Italian peas, grapes, raisins.

High school lunches

All high school lunches include an entree, a milk choice and any two vegetable options. All meals include option for 100 percent fruit juice.

Monday: $2.50 menu: Peanut butter and jelly sandwich or hummus combo. $3 menu: Grilled chicken Caesar salad; vegetarian garden salad; fresh baked pizza; or turkey pot pie with bread bowl. Veggie/fruit choices are broccoli dipper, roasted red potatoes, orange smiles, applesauce cup.

Tuesday: $2.50 menu: Cafe sub or "just plain nutty" combo. $3 menu: Chef salad; vegetarian garden salad; chicken sandwich (breaded or grilled); or pasta with marinara or meatsauce and breadstick. Veggie/fruit choices include garden side salad, potato roasters, fresh melon, mixed fruit cup.

Wednesday: $2.50 menu: Peanut butter and jelly sandwich or "Moo Over" fruit parfait. $3 menu: Buffalo chicken salad; vegetarian garden salad; "build ur own" burrito or rice bowl; buffalo chicken wings with soft pretzel; or ham and cheese wrap. Veggie/fruit choices are celery/tomato dipper, pinto beans, fresh apple slices, pearsauce.

Thursday: $2.50 menu: Italian mini piccolo sub or "lean machine" combo. $3 menu: Chicken griller Caesar salad; vegetarian garden salad; "Backyard" burger; or fresh baked calzone. Veggie/fruit choices are Caesar side salad, steamed broccoli florets, fresh kumquats, peach cup.

Friday: $2.50 menu: Peanut butter and jelly sandwich or French market combo. $3 menu: Caribbean salad; vegetarian garden salad; chicken tenders with or without yellow rice; or fish sandwich. Veggie/fruit choices are fresh baby carrots, cross-cut sweet potato, grapes, raisins.
