Pasco County operates nine congregate dining sites that offer a nutritious meal and various program activities. There is no charge for these meals, but donations are requested. Additionally, Pasco County delivers meals to homes of the elderly through two programs: The Elderly Nutrition Program meal is offered for a donation only. The Meals on Wheels program requires a registration fee and a $6 fee per meal. Monday: Chicken Parmesan, California blend vegetables, Italian flat beans, whole-grain bread, pears, low-fat milk.
Tuesday: Hot dog with mustard, baked beans with tomato bits, carrot coins, hot dog bun, pineapple, low-fat milk.
Wednesday: Beef and macaroni with cheese, green beans, corn with red peppers, Italian bread with margarine, mixed fruit, low-fat milk.
Thursday: Chicken breast patty with coq au vin sauce, herb mashed potatoes, broccoli cuts, whole-grain bread with margarine, low-fat milk, birthday cake and vanilla ice cream (pudding for home delivery).
Friday: Salisbury steak with brown gravy, parslied rice, Brussels sprouts, whole-grain bread with margarine, peaches, low-fat milk.
