Pasco County operates nine congregate dining sites that offer a nutritious meal and various program activities. There is no charge for these meals, but donations are requested. Additionally, Pasco County delivers meals to homes of the elderly through two programs: The Elderly Nutrition Program meal is offered for a donation only. The Meals on Wheels program requires a registration fee and a $5 fee per meal. Monday: Lasagna casserole, spinach, Italian vegetable medley, whole grain wheat bread with margarine, oatmeal raisin cookie, low-fat milk.
Tuesday: Barbecue pork riblet, Lyonnaise potatoes, green peas, whole grain wheat bread with margarine, chunky cinnamon apples, low-fat milk.
Wednesday: Oven baked fish filet with tartar sauce, cheesy grits, tomatoes and okra, whole grain wheat bread, mixed fruit, low-fat milk.
Thursday: Vegetable soup, grilled chicken breast patty with chicken gravy, mashed potatoes, broccoli cuts, whole grain wheat bread with margarine, fresh fruit, low-fat milk.
Friday: Meatballs with brown gravy, rice pilaf, mixed vegetables, whole grain wheat bread with margarine, peaches, low-fat milk.
