Pasco County Elderly Nutrition/Meals on Wheels Program operates eight dining sites. Elderly Nutrition also delivers meals under two types of programs to the homes of the elderly and others. Home Delivered Meals provides food for those who are 60 or older, frail and home-bound, regardless of income. Meals on Wheels is a direct customer-billed meal service for anyone needing a home-delivered meal. There is a one-time $10 registration fee for one person, $15 for two; meals cost $6. To get information or to volunteer, call (727) 834-3340 in west Pasco; (352) 521-5174 in east Pasco; or (813) 929-1231 in central Pasco.

Monday: BBQ meatball hoagie, cheesy mashed potatoes, carrot coins, raisins, margarine cup, low fat milk.

Tuesday: Orange juice, baked chicken thigh, yellow rice with tomatoes and peppers, black beans, whole grain roll, low fat milk.

Wednesday: Grape juice, turkey ham and cheese on whole grain bun, mayonnaise and mustard packets, carrot raisin salad, chocolate chip cookie, low fat milk.

Thursday: Grilled chicken breast patty with marinara sauce, penne pasta with garlic oil, butternut squash, whole grain bread with margarine cup, pineapple, low fat milk.

Friday: Cream of tomato soup, flame broiled beef patty on hamburger bun, mashed sweet potatoes, broccoli, mustard and ketchup packets, fresh orange, low fat milk.
