Pasco County senior menus, Meals on Wheels for week of June 14

Pasco County operates nine congregate dining centers for adults 60 and older. There is no charge for the meals, but donations are encouraged. The county also delivers meals to homes of the elderly through two programs: The Elderly Nutrition Program meal is offered for a donation only. The Meals on Wheels program requires a registration fee and a $5 fee per meal. For meal options or to volunteer, call (727) 834-3340 in west Pasco; (352) 521-5174 in east Pasco; or (813) 929-1231 in central Pasco.

Monday: Pork chop patty with brown gravy, penne pasta with garlic, Brussels sprouts, whole grain wheat bread with margarine, pears, low-fat milk.

Tuesday: Sliced turkey breast with turkey gravy, mashed potatoes, carrots, whole grain wheat bread with margarine, cranberry orange relish, low-fat milk.

Wednesday: Frankfurter with mustard, baked beans, mixed vegetables, hot dog bun, pineapple chunks, low-fat milk.

Thursday: Minestrone soup, grilled chicken breast coq au vin, herb mashed potatoes, broccoli cuts, dinner roll with margarine, chocolate chip cookie, low-fat milk.

Friday: Beef stew with vegetables and gravy, parsley white rice, lima beans, french bread with margarine, football brownie in honor of Father's Day, low-fat milk.
