Pasco County operates nine congregate dining sites that offer nutritious meals and various program activities. There is no charge for these meals, but donations are requested. Additionally, Pasco County delivers meals to homes of the elderly through two programs: The Elderly Nutrition Program meal is offered for a donation only. The Meals on Wheels program requires a registration fee and a $5 fee per meal. Monday: Pork chop patty with brown gravy, penne pasta with garlic, Brussels sprouts, whole grain wheat bread with margarine, pears, low fat milk.
Tuesday: Sliced turkey breast with turkey gravy, mashed potatoes, carrots, whole grain wheat bread with margarine, cranberry orange relish, low fat milk.
Wednesday: Frankfurter with mustard, baked beans, mixed vegetables, hot dog bun, pineapple chunks, low fat milk.
Thursday: Minestrone soup, grilled chicken breast coq au vin, herb mashed potatoes, broccoli cuts, roll with margarine, chocolate chip cookie, low fat milk.
Friday: Beef stew with vegetables and gravy, parsley white rice, lima beans, French bread with margarine, fresh fruit, low fat milk.
