Pasco County Elderly Nutrition/Meals on Wheels Program operates eight dining sites. Elderly Nutrition also delivers meals under two types of programs to the homes of the elderly and others. Home Delivered Meals provides meals for those who are 60 or older, frail and home-bound, regardless of income. Meals on Wheels is a direct customer-billed meal service for anyone needing a home-delivered meal. There is a one-time $10 registration fee for one person, $15 for two; meals cost $6. To get information or to volunteer, call (727) 834-3340 in west Pasco; (352) 521-5174 in east Pasco; or (813) 929-1231 in central Pasco.

Monday: beef with rotini pasta, parsley carrots, broccoli cuts, dinner roll with margarine cup, applesauce, low fat milk.

Tuesday: Barbecued pork riblet on hamburger bun, pinto beans, corn with tomato bits, mixed fruit, low fat milk.

Wednesday: macaroni and cheese, green peas, stewed tomatoes, whole wheat bread with margarine cup, mixed fruit, low fat milk.

Thursday: salisbury steak with brown gravy, garlic mashed potatoes, green beans and red peppers, whole grain bread with margarine cup, graham crackers, low fat milk.

Friday: Barbecued chicken thigh, brown rice, mixed greens with turkey ham, corn bread with margarine cup, fresh orange, low fat milk.
