PORT RICHEY — Pasco County sheriff's deputies are investigating a decomposed body that was found near the USA Fleamarket on U.S. 19, just south of State Road 52.

The Sheriff's Office received the call at 2:51 p.m. that patrons of the flea market noticed a strong smell of decomposition, and found the body in a wooded area near the flea market.

It is unknown if the deceased is male or female. The Sheriff's Office said cause of death will have to be determined by the medical examiner.

A homeless camp is located in the wooded area next to the flea market. The body of another homeless person, Kimberly Sue Goode, 46, was found in the area back in July. Authorities charged a fellow transient, William Charles Johnroe, with Goode's death.
