Pasco police briefs: Man accused of sexual battery against teen

Man, 40, charged with sexual battery of teen

A 40-year-old man was accused of having sexual relations with a 16-year-old girl, according to the Pasco County Sheriff's Office.

An arrest report said the incident happened while Gerald L. Ballou, a forklift driver from Ridge Manor, sat in his red Ford truck with the girl on Wednesday in Dade City.

The girl later told police the alleged act was not consensual. Ballou was arrested Friday on a charge of sexual battery and is being held in the county jail in lieu of $20,000 bail.

Report says man, 44, kicked girl in stomach

A 44-year-old man, Damien R. Bour of New Port Richey, kicked an 8-year-old child in the stomach because of her "table manners" and then, when she grabbed at his car door because she wanted to go with him to Wal-Mart, he almost ran her over, according to an arrest report from the Pasco County Sheriff's Office.

His relationship with the child is not stated in the report.

Bour was arrested Friday and is being held in the Land O'Lakes jail in lieu of $1,000 bail.

He is charged with child abuse. "I know I made a mistake," he told deputies, "but I told her she was not going with me to Wal-Mart."
