School menus

Elementary breakfasts

Elementary breakfasts are called Sunrise Packs, and each features a main item that contains a combination of grains and/or protein, plus a choice of low-fat milk, and a choice of a fresh fruit or 100 percent fruit juice. Choices include the following:

Snack Pack: Snack-like choices including muffins, PopTarts and cereal bars.

'Moove' Pack: Yogurt with or without Elf Grahams.

Bowl Pack: A variety of whole-grain, reduced-sugar cereals with or without Elf Grahams.

Hot pack: Hot options like pancakes, breakfast pizza or sandwiches.

Elementary lunches

All elementary school lunches include an entree, a milk choice, a fruit choice, and a choice of any two vegetable options.

Monday: Chicken patty sandwich; Texas barbecue sandwich; or peanut butter and jelly sandwich. Veggie/fruit choices are cucumbers with dip, sweet potato bites, orange smiles, applesauce, 100 percent fruit juice.

Tuesday: Turkey and gravy with or without roll; grilled chicken salad with or without roll; yogurt dipper box; or peanut butter and jelly sandwich. Veggie/fruit choices are garden salad, mashed potatoes, fresh melon, mixed fruit cup, 100 percent fruit juice.

Wednesday: Sloppy Joe sandwich; pizza sticks; or peanut butter and jelly sandwich. Veggie/fruit choices are celery/carrots with dip, black beans, apple slices, fruit cup, 100 percent fruit juice.

Thursday: Italian penne pasta with marinara or meat sauce; tuna fishwich; hummus dipper box; or peanut butter and jelly sandwich. Veggie/fruit choices are "Popeye" salad, garlic green beans, seasonal fresh fruit, strawberry peaches, 100 percent fruit juice.

Friday: Personal pizza (cheese or pepperoni); cafe sub; or peanut butter and jelly sandwich. Veggie/fruit choices are carrots with dip, sweet corn, red grapes, raisins, 100 percent fruit juice.

Middle and high school breakfasts

Secondary breakfasts are called Wake Up Packs, and each features a main item, plus a choice of low-fat milk, and a choice of a fresh fruit or 100 percent fruit juice. Choices include the following:

Hot'n Stacked Pack: A daily special from muffins, waffles, pancakes, French toast or other traditional breakfast favorites.

Lite'n Healthy Pack: A daily light special from yogurt fruit parfaits, low-fat yogurt cups or smoothies.

Grain'n Eat It Pack: A variety of whole-grain cereals are available.

Snack'n Go Pack: A snack-like choice.

Grab'n Go Pack: A hot breakfast sandwich or other meal students can eat "on the go."

Middle and high school lunches

All middle school lunches include an entree, a milk choice, a fruit choice, and a choice of any two vegetable options. All high school lunches include an entree, a milk choice, and a choice of any two vegetable options.

Middle school lunches

Monday: $2.50 menu: Peanut butter and jelly sandwich or hummus combo. $3 menu: Grilled chicken Caesar salad; vegetarian entree salad; barbecue rib sandwich; or fresh baked pizza. Veggie/fruit choices are cucumber dipper, sweet potato puffs, orange smiles, applesauce cup, 100 percent fruit juice.

Tuesday: $2.50 menu: Italian deli "flatz" or "just plain nutty" combo. $3 menu: Chef salad; vegetarian entree salad; "Backyard" burger/cheeseburger; or twisted turkey wrap. Veggie/fruit choices are garden side salad, potato smiles, melon, mixed fruit cup, 100 percent fruit juice.

Wednesday: $2.50 menu: Peanut butter and jelly sandwich or "Moo Over" fruit parfait. $3 menu: Chicken BLT salad; vegetarian entree salad; nachos; or cheesy garlic flatbread. Veggie/fruit choices are celery/carrot dipper, black beans, fresh sliced apples, pearsauce, 100 percent fruit juice.

Thursday: $2.50 menu: Italian piccolo sub or "lean machine" combo. $3 menu: Chef salad; vegetarian entree salad; chicken sandwich (breaded or grilled); or lasagna with breadstick. Veggie/fruit choices are "Popeye" side salad, garlic green beans, seasonal fresh fruit, peach/strawberry cup, 100 percent fruit juice.

Friday: $2.50 menu: Peanut butter and jelly sandwich or French market combo. $3 menu: Chicken taco salad; vegetarian entree salad; "build ur own" sub; fish sandwich; or Italian dunkers with marinara. Veggie/fruit choices are fresh baby carrots, sweet corn, grapes, raisins, 100 percent fruit juice.

High school lunches

Monday: $2.50 menu: Peanut butter and jelly sandwich or hummus combo. $3 menu: Chicken griller Caesar salad; vegetarian garden salad; "big daddy" pizza; or Asian tangerine chicken with or without brown rice. Veggie/fruit choices are celery/carrot dipper, garlic butter green beans, orange smiles, applesauce cup, 100 percent fruit juice.

Tuesday: $2.50 menu: Cafe sub or "just plain nutty" combo. $3 menu: Mediterranean salad; vegetarian garden salad; chicken sandwich (breaded or grilled); or mac and cheese with breadstick. Veggie/fruit choices are garden side salad, potato smiles, fresh melon, mixed fruit cup, 100 percent fruit juice.

Wednesday: $2.50 menu: Peanut butter and jelly sandwich or "Moo Over" fruit parfait. $3 menu: Chicken BLT salad; vegetarian garden salad; nachos; turkey burger; or buffalo chicken wrap. Veggie/fruit choices are cucumber dipper, black beans, fresh apple slices, pearsauce, 100 percent fruit juice.

Thursday: $2.50 menu: Italian piccolo sub or "lean machine" combo. $3 menu: Grilled chicken Caesar salad; vegetarian garden salad; "Backyard" burger/cheeseburger; or "build ur own" sub. Friday: $2.50 menu: Peanut butter and jelly sandwich or French market combo. $3 menu: Chicken taco salad; vegetarian garden salad; chicken tenders with or without yellow rice; or fish sandwich. Veggie/fruit choices are fresh baby carrots, roasted red potatoes, grapes, raisins, 100 percent fruit juice.
