Pasco County Elderly Nutrition/Meals on Wheels Program operates eight dining sites. Elderly Nutrition also delivers meals under two types of programs to the homes of the elderly and others. Home Delivered Meals provides meals for those who are 60 or older, frail and home-bound, regardless of income. Meals on Wheels is a direct customer-billed meal service for anyone needing a home-delivered meal. There is a one-time $10 registration fee for one person, $15 for two; meals cost $6. To get information or to volunteer, call (727) 834-3340 in west Pasco; (352) 521-5174 in east Pasco; or (813) 929-1231 in central Pasco.

Monday: Sliced meatloaf with mushroom gravy, mashed potatoes, brussels sprouts, whole grain bread, citrus fruit, low fat milk.

Tuesday: Chicken patty with Florentine sauce, penne pasta with garlic oil, Tuscan blend vegetables, whole grain bread with margarine, applesauce, low fat milk.

Wednesday: Pork riblet with sweet and sour sauce, wild rice medley, Chinese vegetables, whole grain roll, oatmeal raisin cookie, low fat milk.

Thursday: Hamburger patty on bun with ketchup and mustard, baked beans, corn with diced tomatoes, margarine, peaches, low fat milk.

Friday: Cream of broccoli soup, baked chicken thigh with barbecue sauce, mashed potatoes with cheese, broccoli cuts, whole grain bread, graham crackers, low fat milk.
