Pasco: Senior menus/Meals of Wheels

Note: All meal sites will be closed Thursday and Friday, and there will be no home deliveries those days because of the holidays.

Pasco County operates nine congregate dining sites that offer a free nutritious meal and various program activities. Additionally, Pasco County delivers meals to homes of the elderly through two programs: The Elderly Nutrition Program meal is offered for a donation only. The Meals on Wheels program requires a registration fee and a $5 fee per meal. For information on any of these meal options or to volunteer, call (727)834-3340 in west Pasco; (352) 521-5174 in east Pasco; or (813)929-1231 in central Pasco.

Monday: Meatballs with tomato gravy, potatoes au gratin, chopped broccoli, whole grain bread with margarine, peanut butter cookie, low fat milk.

Tuesday Christmas Celebration: Sliced ham with fruit sauce, whipped sweet potatoes, green beans with mushrooms and diced red pepper, whole grain dinner roll with margarine, special holiday dessert, low fat milk.

Wednesday: Frankfurter with mustard, baked beans and tomato bits, warm cinnamon apples, coleslaw with shredded carrots, hot dog bun, low fat milk.

Thursday and Friday: Closed.
