RUSKIN — Photographer Carl Weese, who is working on a documentary about America's drive-in theaters, will be the artist in residence Sunday through Oct. 21 at the Firehouse Cultural Center, 101 First Ave. NE. While in town, Weese will be photographing the Ruskin Family Drive-in as well as hosting free and paid workshops at the Firehouse. Free events include a meeting with Weese at 7 p.m. Monday and an informal shop talk session at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday. An Intro to Digital Photography class is 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Tuesday and Thursday. Cost to attend is $85 for cultural center members and $90 for nonmembers. A master class, Digital Photography Intensive, is 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Oct. 20-21.
