Today

Mature driving classes for drivers older than 50 are taught by trained volunteers in two, four-hour sessions. Graduates may be eligible for auto insurance discounts for the following three years. For details on class, call toll-free 1-888-227-7669.

Prayer breakfast: Father Ron Kowalski, the new priest at the Episcopal Church of the Good Samaritan, will be the guest speaker at the Upper Pinellas Kiwanis Club's Annual Prayer Breakfast at 7:30 a.m. at Clearwater Country Club, 525 N Betty Lane. Thursday

Enjoy nature: Largo Central Park is a beautiful, 70-acre park at 101 Central Park Drive with picnic pavilions, restroom facilities, James S. Miles & Richard A. Leandri Military Court of Honor and Rainbow Rotary Playground, one of the only playgrounds in the bay area completely accessible to disabled users. Open 5 a.m.-11 p.m. daily. Friday

Pink Floyd's "The Wall":
WMNF-FM 88.5 presents the Vodkanauts and special guests who will re-create this classic album along with some of Tampa Bay's best bands opening the show at 8 p.m. at Largo Cultural Center, 105 Central Park Drive. $17 Advance, $20 day of show. For tickets call (727) 587-6793.

Friday bingo: VFW Post 2550 hosts bingo games every Friday at 360 Douglas Ave., Dunedin. Doors open at 10:30 a.m.; games begin at noon. Lunch will be available. Call (727) 733-6107.

Dunedin's Green Market: 8 a.m.-1 p.m. every Friday until the end of April in Pioneer Park, corner of Main Street and Douglas Avenue. Features produce, cheese, seafood, plants and herbs, honey, organic products and more. Call Richard Kendler at (727) 733-4215.

Saturday

Holiday glow: The Florida Botanical Gardens will glow with more than 400,000 lights 6-10 p.m. through Jan. 3 at 12520 Ulmerton Road, Largo. Nightly entertainment is provided by local artists giving their time and talent. Featured Saturday are the Lindblom Family Singers, Sweet Adelines, barbershop harmony and acoustic guitarist Frank "Doc" Hamilton. $2 minimum donation for adults, free for children 12 and younger. The Lettermen in concert: The Lettermen, one of the defining groups of the 1960s, will present a holiday show at 2 and 8 p.m. at Largo Cultural Center, 105 Central Park Drive. $35 VIP, $30 advance, $35 day of show, $27 seniors. For tickets call (727) 587-6793.

Market in the park: 9 a.m.-1 p.m. every Saturday through April 17 at Heritage Village, 11909 125th St., Largo. At least 36 vendors will offer fresh produce, seafood, honey, all natural pet treats, hot sauces, crafts and more. Pinellas County Extension will provide several educational booths. Guided hikes: Experience the natural beauty of Florida with free guided hikes through Brooker Creek Preserve's Education Center Trail, 3940 Keystone Road, East Lake. Hikes are 9-11 a.m. Saturdays. Advance registration is required. Call (727) 453-6800.
