Pasco County operates eight congregate dining centers for residents 60 and older, funded in part by the Older Americans Act. There is no charge for the meals, but donations are encouraged. The county also delivers meals to homes of the elderly through two programs. The Elderly Nutrition Program, also funded in part by the Older Americans Act, delivers meals at no charge, but donations are encouraged. Meals on Wheels requires a registration fee and a $6 fee per meal. To get meal options or to volunteer, call (727) 834-3340 in west Pasco, (352) 521-5174 in east Pasco or (813) 929-1231 in central Pasco.

Monday: Meatballs with tomato gravy, mashed potatoes, broccoli cuts, whole grain bread with margarine, mixed fruit, low fat milk.

Tuesday: Sliced turkey and gravy, mashed sweet potatoes, green beans with red peppers, whole grain roll with margarine, cranberry sauce, cranberry loaf, low fat milk.

Wednesday: Vegetable soup, baked chicken thigh, potatoes au gratin, mixed vegetables, wheat bread with margarine, peaches, low fat milk.

Thursday: No deliveries and sites closed for the Thanksgiving holiday.

Friday: No deliveries and sites closed for the Thanksgiving holiday.
