Artists can apply for grants: Local artists can obtain $2,000 grants from the Arts Council of Hillsborough County. Seven grants are available for 2013. Artist's projects must further their professional development. The projects must be outlined in the grant applications and take place during the grant period of March 1 to Sept. 30.
