Donations of food to feed needy Hernando County children during spring break are being collected through Thursday at Suncoast Schools Federal Credit Union at 18915 Cortez Blvd., Brooksville, and at Paul and Jerry's Self Storage, 10161 County Line Road, Spring Hill. Drop-offs can be made from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. weekdays at both locations, as well as from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturdays at Paul and Jerry's. An after-hours drop-off box is also at the storage facility. French civilization is lecture topic Monday

Academia Hernando will present the final lecture in its winter series at 10 a.m. Monday at Nativity Lutheran Church, 6363 Commercial Way. The topic will be "La Belle France: A Spotlight on French Civilization and Culture," presented by Joe Menasche. The cost is $8. • In the Junior Division of the Hernando County school district's History Fair, Harrison Rose of Parrott Middle School was the fourth-place finisher in the Individual Documentary category. An incorrect name was listed on Thursday's Top of the Class page. Also, the first-place winners in the Group Performance category in the Junior Division, Savannah Nix and Abigal Linville, are from Parrott. A different school was listed Thursday. In both cases, incorrect information was submitted by the school district.

•Those interested in volunteering at the Hernando County Property Appraiser's Office may call Paulette Stearns at (352) 754-4190. Because of incorrect information given to the Times, the wrong number was published in Thursday's edition.
