St. Raphael's fest is Thursday through Nov. 1

The public is invited to Fun Fest on the waterfront grounds of St. Raphael Catholic Church, 1376 Snell Isle Blvd. NE, Thursday through Nov. 1. Carnival rides, live music, bingo, a TV sports beer garden, poker games, karaoke, rummage sale, trick or treat island, haunted house, pony rides, a rock-climbing wall, and game booths for all ages are featured. Food includes pizza, nachos, burgers, hot dogs, turkey legs, fried fish, carnival treats, beer, wine and soda. Hours are 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday, noon to 10 p.m. Friday and Saturday, and noon to 8 p.m. Sunday. Proceeds benefit St. Raphael Catholic School.

Branch library hours to change Monday

Beginning Monday, St. Petersburg public library branch hours will change from the temporary hours scheduled during the renovations to the Main Library. North and South branches will discontinue temporary Sunday hours after Nov. 8. Starting Nov. 15 the Main Library will once again have Sunday hours. Blood drive Saturday at AmVets Post 1

Florida Blood Services will sponsor a blood drive from noon to 4 p.m. Saturday at AmVets Post 1, 421 45th Ave. S, in St. Petersburg. Free hot dogs and hamburgers will be provided for all donors. There will also be live music. For more information, call (727) 896-4122.
