Tampa African Violet Society: The theme of the African Violet Society of America judged show and sale is "Love at first sight." The event is noon to 5 p.m. today and 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday at the Farm Bureau, 100 S Mulrennan Road, Valrico. African violets, gesneriads and supplies will be available for sale.     Guests at the Don CeSar Hotel relax Tuesday on St. Pete Beach. That night, the City Commission unanimously passed an ordinance to allow hotel guests to drink alcohol in permitted beach areas.
