Fall gala: The St. Peter Claver Catholic School will hold its fall gala fundraiser "A Classic Celebration of Community" on Saturday at 7 p.m. at the Academy of Holy Names Brady Center, 3319 Bayshore Blvd. The event will feature food from Columbia Restaurant, flamenco dancers and Talitha Anyabwele of Black Girl Speaks Productions.

Athletics fundraiser: Steinbrenner High School will hold a Casino Night fundraiser on Nov. 3 from 7 to 11 p.m. at the Heritage Harbor Golf & Country Club. The event will feature blackjack, poker, roulette, a silent auction, a live auction and door prizes. Tickets are $25 per person and include chips, hors d'oeuvres and a cash bar. School celebration: Greco Middle School will celebrate its 50th anniversary on Saturday from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., with a recognition ceremony from 11:15 to 11:45 a.m. in the Greco cafeteria, 6925 E Fowler Ave., Temple Terrace. The community and past and present Greco faculty and staff are invited to the event that will include music, games and school tours.
Open house: Tampa Bay Technical High School will hold an open house on Nov. 1 from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. The open house will have information on the school's 13 technical programs, as well as school tours and assistance in filing on-line applications.
