Teenager charged in vandalism at Army reservist's home

WESLEY CHAPEL

Teenager accused of vandalizing home

A 15-year-old boy was charged Wednesday in connection with a vandalism incident last week at the home of an Army reservist.

The teenager, whose name is being withheld due to his age, was charged with residential burglary, felony criminal mischief and grand theft after Pasco deputies say he and other suspects burned the walls of Arleen Agosto's Wesley Chapel home Thursday, splattered pink paint on the walls and destroyed and stole her 3-year-old daughter's toys.

Items taken from Agosto's home were found at the home of the boy who has been arrested, the Sheriff's Office said.

Other arrests are expected, said sheriff's spokesman Kevin Doll, including a suspect who is younger than 10 years old.
