thief swipes bowler's wallet during game

Investigators are looking for a man who stole a bowler's wallet mid game and then tried to use the credit cards in five different locations. Mitul Patel's wallet was taken out of his bowling bag Saturday afternoon, according to the Pasco County Sheriff's Office. Patel, 20, chased the man out of the Lane Glo bowling alley at 6935 Ridge Road, but lost him outside. A short time later, the man and an accomplice tried to use one of Patel's credit cards at Wal-Mart and Best Buy, which rejected them. The men were able to use the cards to buy items at three gas stations, however. The man who stole the wallet is described as 5 feet 8, weighing about 180 pounds. His accomplice is described as 5 feet 8 with a beard and weighing 220 pounds. Any one with information may call Detective Michael Rosa at toll-free at 1-800-854-2862, ext. 7447.
