Volunteers sought to clean up the coast in Pasco

Pasco residents are encouraged to come out and help pick up trash along fragile coastal waterways and streets as part of the annual International Coastal Cleanup from 8 a.m. to noon Sept. 20.

The cleanup will be at multiple locations throughout the county, including Strauber Memorial Highway in Holiday, the city of Dade City, the Cotee River in downtown New Port Richey, Hudson Beach, Lacoochee, Waterfront Park in New Port Richey, Sea Pines in Hudson, Signal Cove in Hudson and Werner-Boyce State Park in Port Richey.
