Where to find the bloodmobile around Hernando

The LifeSouth Community Blood Center mobile unit will be at the following locations this week.

Today — Bus 1, 8 a.m. to 1 p.m., Christian Church in the Wildwood, 10051 Country Road, north of Weeki Wachee. Bus 2, 8:30 a.m. to 1 p.m., Forest Oaks Lutheran Church, 8555 Forest Oaks Blvd., Spring Hill. (Donors at both locations receive a free Chick-fil-A sandwich coupon.)

Monday — Bus 1, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., Walmart, 1485 Commercial Way, Spring Hill. Bus 2, 12:30 to 6 p.m., Walmart, 7305 Broad St., Brooksville.

Tuesday — Bus 1, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., Walmart, 13300 Cortez Blvd., Spring Hill. Bus 2, 1:30 to 4 p.m., Hernando County Utilities, 15400 Wiscon Road, Brooksville.

Wednesday — Bus 1, 9 to 11 a.m., Hernando County Northwest Waste Management parking lot, 14450 Landfill Road, north of Brooksville; noon to 4 p.m., Belk, 13151 Cortez Blvd., Spring Hill. Bus 2, 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., Pasco-Hernando Community College, Spring Hill Campus, 450 Beverly Court, Spring Hill.

Thursday — Bus 1, 7:30 a.m. to 5 p.m., Southwest Florida Water Management District, 2379 Broad St., south of Brooksville. Bus 2, 11 a.m. to 5 p.m., Publix, 9595 Commercial Way, Weeki Wachee.

Friday — Bus 1, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., Walmart, 1485 Commercial Way, Spring Hill. Bus 2, 11 a.m. to 6 p.m., Subway, 13078 Cortez Blvd., Spring Hill (donors receive a free footlong sub).

Saturday — Bus 1, 8 to 11 a.m., Ridge Manor Area Crime Watch fundraiser event, Ridge Manor Community Center, 34240 Cortez Blvd., Ridge Manor (donors receive a free breakfast); noon to 3 p.m., Sunrise Plaza, 31100 Cortez Blvd., Ridge Manor West. Bus 2, noon to 6 p.m., Publix, 4158 Mariner Blvd., Spring Hill.

The blood center, at 12395 Cortez Blvd., Spring Hill, is open from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sundays, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Mondays, Tuesdays and Fridays, from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. Wednesdays and Thursdays, and from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturdays. Donors must be 16 or older (16-year-olds must have written parental consent). All donors must present photo identification. For information, call (352) 596-2002.
