The Women of Spring Hill United Church of Christ will host their 28th annual Christmas Bazaar Festival from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Friday and Nov. 14 at the church, 4244 Mariner Blvd.
The event will include handmade crafts, floral arrangements, Christmas ornaments and gifts for all occasions. Home-baked goods — as well as hot dogs, tacos, coffee, tea, soda and punch — will be available. For more information, call (352) 686-9286.

Legislative delegation plans to meet Dec. 1
The annual Hernando County legislative delegation meeting will be at 1 p.m. Dec. 1 in the commission chambers at the Hernando County Government Center, 20 N Main St.
Residents are invited to speak about appropriations or general legislation issues. Those wishing to reserve time to speak must sign up by Nov. 24.

HERNANDO/CITRUS COUNTIES
Program will focus on natural habitats
The Hernando and Citrus county cooperative extension services will offer Natural Treasures of the Nature Coast, a series of outdoor workshops to introduce people to a variety of natural habitats.
Each workshop will be from 8:30 a.m. to noon on the following days:
• Nov. 17 — Hiking exploration of pine flat areas in upland habitats at the Chinsegut Nature Center.
• Nov. 24 — Boating adventure through the estuary along the Nature Coast, starting at the Citrus County Marine Science Center.
• Dec. 1 — Canoeing on the Chassahowitzka River.
The program is limited to 24 participants. The cost is $60 per person. Registration is required by Thursday. Payment can be made at the Hernando County Extension Service at its new office location, 1653 Blaise Drive, off Truck Bypass 50. For details, call (352) 754-4433.
