ST. PETERSBURG Knox Medical, one of the 13 licensed medical marijuana providers in the state, opened its first dispensary in the Tampa Bay area this week.

The new dispensary is at 601 34th St. N. This is the sixth dispensary Knox has opened this year.

Patients who have registered with the Florida Department of Health and have been treated by a licensed medical marijuana physician in Florida can purchase marijuana CBD or THC products, from oil drops to creams to vaporizer cartridges, at the new Knox facility.

Trulieve and Surterra Wellness also operate dispensaries in the Tampa Bay area.
