My Salon expands with New Tampa location

NEW TAMPA — Three years ago, Jerel and Heather Tomasello opened MY SALON Suite in Britton Plaza in South Tampa.

After achieving success with their first location, the couple opened their second franchise in New Tampa earlier this month.

"We just felt like it would be perfect for this concept," said Heather Tomasello. "There is a demand."

MY SALON Suite is an upscale beauty complex that offers salon space to independent beauty and wellness professionals, referred to as members. The New Tampa location features a central lobby area and 23 suites that are 130 square feet.

"We’ve put the extra space into the suite itself because that’s where our members are going to spend most of their time," said Heather Tomasello said.

All of the suites come completely furnished, and can be customized by the members.

The New Tampa location includes members that are hair stylists, aestheticians, makeup artists, barbers, and those that perform eyelash extensions. Members can set their own hours and have access to their suite twenty four hours a day.

"I love that we enable beauty professionals to be in business for themselves," Heather Tomasello said.

MY SALON Suite and the Greater Wesley Chapel Chamber of Commerce will hold a grand opening celebration and ribbon cutting on Nov. 13, from 5:30-7:30 p.m. There will be drinks, refreshments, tours, door prizes and giveaways.

MY SALON Suite is located at 20707 Center Oak Drive. For more information, call (813) 501-0600, or visit facebook/mysalonsuiteofnewtampa.
